A psychological portrait of Diana, Princess of Wales, over three days at Sandringham in 1991. Directed by Pablo Larraín and written by Steven Knight, it uses Claire Mathon’s Super 16mm cinematography, Jonny Greenwood’s dissonant score, and Kristen Stewart’s physically precise performance to render Diana’s existential crisis as sensory experience — not biography, but embodiment.
David Lowery’s The Green Knight reimagines the 14th-century poem as a visually dense, deliberately paced speculative fiction film. Dev Patel stars as Gawain, whose year-long journey to keep a supernatural bargain unfolds through ritualised encounters, practical effects, and a refusal of narrative resolution. Shot in Ireland with hand-painted sets and wood-grain prosthetics, it privileges texture over exposition and ambiguity over catharsis.
