On the planet Ygam, humans called Oms are kept as pets or exterminated as vermin by the giant Draags, until an orphaned Om named Terr escapes his owner with a stolen education headset and helps organise a rebellion. René Laloux directed this 1973 French-Czechoslovak co-production, animated at Prague's Jiří Trnka Studio from designs by Roland Topor, based on Stefan Wul's 1957 novel Oms en série.
