Fantastic Animation Festival
Dean A. Berko, Christopher Padilla · 1977
Released theatrically in 1977, this package film strings together sixteen animated shorts by different filmmakers, including the national debut of Will Vinton's Claymation, the cult short Bambi Meets Godzilla, and a Cat Stevens-scored promo narrated by Spike Milligan. Directed by Dean A. Berko and Christopher Padilla, it helped establish the animation-anthology format later continued by Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation.
